Completed the Printmaking Program at Musashino Art School in 1996. Through black-and-white woodblock prints, Kazama examines contemporary issues by tracing their roots in history. Combining bold imagery with intensive research, her work reveals underlying social and historical structures. Selected exhibitions include Roppongi Crossing 2013: OUT OF DOUBT (Mori Art Museum) and the 11th Gwangju Biennale (2016).
