1999年、京都造形芸術大学美術科彫刻コース卒業。2008年、東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科先端芸術表現専攻修士課程修了。ナフタリンや塩、ガラスなど多様な素材を用い、時間の経過や気配の痕跡を主題に、存在の移ろいを詩的に可視化する作品を制作している。主な展覧会に、「宮永愛子 詩を包む」（富山市ガラス美術館、2023）、「宮永愛子：漕法」(高松市美術館、2019）など。

Graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design and completed her MFA at Tokyo University of the Arts. Using materials such as naphthalene, salt, and glass, Miyanaga creates poetic works that visualize time, traces, and impermanence. Selected exhibitions include Aiko Miyanaga: Wrapping Poems (Toyama Glass Art Museum, 2023) and Aiko Miyanaga: Sōhō, Takamatsu Art Museum, 2019.
